My task manager was disabled by some virus that apparently got into my system through a USB drive, and all media files were deleted (or went missing?)

I read from posts of similar problem from other members on BC and applied the fixes (recovery console + Combofix). This worked and Task Manager was enabled, but I still cannot find my media files. Can I recover them?

Secondly, I ran updated NOD32 to fix the USB Drive, but it detected nothing. Then, I used Linux UBUNTU to manually delete 2 files from the USB Drive (one was "autorun" and the other was some "tel.exe"). But today again, when I plugged in the USB Drive, the same thing happened again (task manager disabled + media files deleted), and I again did the fix successfully. How can I get rid of this permanently? Is there an antivirus which can clean my USB?
