I am infected with a Malware. I can not go to my task manager, it says not allowed. I removed the restriction from the whole current version and user thing but as soon as i remove it it comes right back.
I can not access the internet at all, ( I am using my sisters computer currently to write this)

Which means I can not download hijackthis since I dont have it.

I ran the computer in safe mode and the same problem occurs.

Everytime I try to use the net it redirects to a bogus search engine or an ad to buy adware tools.

I have symantic the new version and it did and still does detect it but for some reason it cant erase all of it and what ever it does erase comes right back.

I can not access Notepad because it says Microsoft error. and symantic says 424 virus infected in notepad.exe

alot of the redirects goes to outerinfo crap which I did find and remove but still happens.
and it also goes to windows_privacy_protection.com

I really need serious help here. is there a way to get a zip file of hijack this or of a malware scanner that I can put on a CD and then install on the computer?

the files I found was Iftuyszv.exe. which I did a search and see that you guys know how to remove it, but I Cant download anything from the net at all.
I also have the dumb exclamation point in the yellow triangle on the bottom of my screen telling me I have adware, which itself is adware.

I need some help, and iftyszv.exe is always running.

sorry if this post has bad grammar or spelling, but I am going crazy with this thing. I Cant do anything at all.

Ok so after trying to fix it all day yesterday I got to this point.

I found away around it enough to download Hijack this.
I was able to clean alot of the malware. And I am able to use my Task Manager again!!
Iftuyszv.exe seems to be gone now. and the yellow exclamation point is gone, and I threw out an icon in System32 that was called zonealarmicon.
The only thing left is that I am am able to go online but when I try to go to bleepingcomputer or majorgeeks or any site that will help me with malware it will redirect to some bogus search crap. It will let me go to yahoo or other sites. I am able to go to download.com thats how I got hijackthis.

The other problem is I cant use Notepad. everytime I try to open it, it says that windows wont let it open. I think DEP or something.
So Notepad is probably infected. I ran Norton 360 2.0 and it doesnt seem to help the problem

Can anyone help please???

When I get home tonite I will try to save the hijackthis log to a CD since I cant open it on my computer without being able to use notepad.
And I will post the log on the forums.

Hello ac1italiano,

I see that you have an HJT log posted here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/152696/need-help-to-finish-off-malware-computer-2/ Because you have this log posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

If after 5 days you still have received no response, then post a link to your HJT log in the thread titled "Haven't Had A Reply In Five Days?".

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.
