I have this file named 1.exe in the root directory of my HD. If I delete it it comes back. When windows first starts it launches what looks like a dos bo and then an error message that says something like error executing 1.exe then "ignore" or "close" nothing happens if I click ignore....when I click close the message goes away.
I have researched it (1.exe) and it might be a virus, but I have my firewall and all that jazz, and updated AVG but it is never detected.
Anybody have any ideas how I can get rid of it?
i have both 1.exe and 2.exe, cannot get rid of them even after deleting and rebooting, the come up as msdos boxes with nvdtm cpu has encountered an illegal instruction, spybot did not find them, kaspersky neither, any ideas
