MalWare-Adware-Spyware-Worm
Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of Svchost32 it's name is (Msgrsv32) on a Win98, Maybe what virus program would work the best to track it down and delete it.
If you don't move the mouse for about 3 to 4 minutes the system freezes.
It's my sisters computer and i have been trying to rid her of this problem.
She is running Panda antivirus...But still to no avail. :flowers:

Mod Edit: This will be moved to a more appropriate Forum.

You can try running Trendmicro Scan and see if it can fix it for you.
Get it here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Hey Dog,if it persists you could try tracking it down in the REG.Get into it with:
START...RUN...regedit(in box)Left panel displays Keys;Right=entries for each.
See if you can FIND/DELETE the file.Recomend Avast a.v too.IF you can back up REG on disk before making changes&testing_would be a good safety measure*@
least you know what to look for-go get 'em.

SV CHOST32 not a virus,it's binary code to kernal 32(path);important,as it controls
Power profile;network logons etc.Could be virus effected tho, can't mess with-out
affecting important stuff.Caution.
