My computer was infected with a hijacker and i came on this site to help me get rid of it. I was using one of the tutorials called "How to remove Home Search Assistant - CWS NS# - Only the Best Hijacker". I downloaded the programs it said i needed which are "HijackThis" "AboutBuster" and "ADSSpy". The problem is that in the directions it says to NOT run ADSSpy's cleaning thing until later in the process. I didnt see this instruction and I accidently ran it and deleted the files that came up. I thought nothing of it until i got farther in the instructions to STEP 6. It says to run ADSSpy and go in and delete the ONE problem file. when i went in there, there was nothing to scan. It kept coming up with 0 results. Now my computer is being strange. The Start bar won't come up. the desktop items show, but when i try to run something it says its corrupt. the internet doesnt work either. I dont know what i did, or how i am supposed to fix it...... does anybody have any ideas?? Please help me. Email at or reply on here. Thank you so much for any help! I really need it!
