hi im having problems with my xp pro .. when i put pc on i can hear a constant noise ,stops and then again .and obviously wount boot .this started after trying to clean pc from inside !!
any ideas how to solve my problem please .. ty

What kind of noise?

No computer is silent, since we have electronic parts doing things at high speeds.

How is the system actually working?

How did you clean the inside of the case?
If you used a vacuum cleaner, there may have been static discharge that sparked to some of the components.

Or, some of the cables/connections may have become dislodged. Try reseating all the cables and wiggling the cards stuck into the motherboard (remove the power first!!!).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
