My num lock light is on but the numeric keyboard won't work (print). I tried my keyboard on another computer and it works. I tried a USB keyboard on my computer and still no luck. I changed the value of 2 to 0 and vice versus in the register on the keyboard and no luck there. I pulled up the keyboard splash screen and with the num lock light on it works but not so if it is turned off. Any suggestioin? Thanks, Kosy

Look in the Device Manager and see if there are any errors showing in the keyboard section. Click on the box with the + inside to expand the tree. It could be a bad driver.

Start> right click on My Computer> Manage> Device manager.
