My computor had been working without a problem until a couple of months ago, when I turned it on and it wouldn't connect
to the internet. It was showing " acquiring network address " After checking about that problem I was told to look at services
to see if DCP client was started. ..It was off so I started it and internet connection connected. Every time I reboot or
shutdown the computer I have to go into the services and start DHCP before the internect connects. I also need to start Windows Audio in services before I get sound, or I can get the sound back by downloading the audio driver.
I'm using AVG Free, Spybot, Adaware, etc and haven't seen any problems.

Set the Startup Type for these services to "Automatic".
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
