Hi,

I notice from the log that there are running more than one different Anti-Virus programs. kaspersky, Trendmicro officescan and MWAgent
Never install more than one Antivirus and Firewall! Rather than giving you extra protection, it will decrease the reliability of it seriously!
The reason for this is that if both products have their automatic (Real-Time) protection switched on, your system may lock up due to both software products attempting to access the same file at the same time.
Also because more than one Antivirus and Firewall installed are not compatible with eachother, it can cause system performance problems and a serious system slowdown.

So you have to make a decision here and keep the Antivirus you prefer and uninstall the other one.
Then reboot after uninstalling.

Also,3 Antivirus present and I doubt if one is actually up to date, because I know Trendmicro and Kaspersky detect and remove this infection you are dealing with. So please let me know in your next reply which Antivirus is up to date / which one you purchased.

Also, since I see the Trendmicro Office version present, it is important that you tell me if this is a computer owned by a company.

Hi,
I have a home PC.
Trendmicro comes along with the local broadband connection. But I found it to be inadequate, hence I bought Kaspersky which delected and deleted a lot of viruses which Trend could not detect. I am using both since the last 4 months. The problem has cropped up since the last couple of days.

Hi,

You can't use more than 1 Antivirus, so if you bought Kaspersky, you should uninstall Trendmicro. This because more than one Antivirus interfere with eachother and because of that, it will decrease the reliability of it seriously.
So as a first step, please uninstall Trendmicro. Also uninstall the MicroWorld Antivirus you have installed as well.

Then, make sure your Kaspersky is UP to date, because it should actually detect all above and delete it though...

Then,

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

Hi,
Thanks for the information.
Trendmicro cannot be uninstalled as the broadband client will not work without it.
Also, Kaspersky does detect the trojens and gives a message that they will be deleted when the computer is restared. But after restarting when I run the scan again, the trojens are again detected.

Are you sure of that? This doesn't make sense though. So this means that you cannot choose your own Antivirus? What in case if the Trendmicro scan gets corrupted?
I don't know who your broadband client is, but please contact them afterwards and ask for more info on this - because you just cannot have more than 1 Antivirus installed. It may even cause BSODs because the drivers are not compatible.

Anyway, that's for afterwards, please proceed with my instructions
