Hi

I downloaded Service pack 1 and stupidly did a registry clean the same day. Had problems and did system restore back before Service pack 1 installation. Have done another windows update check, and service pack 1 is not offered. It is listed in download history, but doesnot appear in another download history file program.

Can anyone tell me if there is some kind of check I can do to see if I have got it? And if I haven,t how do I get microsoft to offer it.

regards

Go to Start...Control Panel...System and Maintenance...System
At the top of the resulting window will be a heading for "Windows Edition"
If it says Service Pack 1 there - you've got it. If it doesn't, then the system doesn't believe that it's installed.

It all depends on what you've done to your registry.
