Hi ...all
I'm a newbie. anyone can help me?
My PC (XP Pro SP2) recently,always appear windows file protection message when I turn on/boot. I used shell replacement/desktop enhancement program (Vistamizer 2.5.1),but I already uninstalled. How to solve this problem ?

That software modifies some files, it is possible that it has not removed itself completely. have you used the system file checker?

Start->run-> sfc /scannow

You will need your XP CD

Start->run-> msconfig
remove unnecessary startup items added by vistamizer

My XP CD is missing. I tried to run sfc / scannow but on the next reboot,the message still appear until I press cancel immediately. another suggestion ?
