iv got this niggling problem that i just cant get figured out.
i just cant load the site https://www.bethere.co.uk/ it says Server not found but every1 else can load it?

i have disabled my soft FW and checked the routers logs and there's nothing about that site being blocked by my hard FW
i can load other secure sites https:// fine,

som1 in another forum mentioned looking at my MTU value

so whats this Max Transmission Unit thing then i had a look at wki but bit over my head,

looking at wiki it says that the MTU is fix at 1500 in the case of Ethernet, which im using atm.also had a quick look at my NIC settings but dident c anything.

hmm so iv found my MTU size under WAN in my router settings its 1492 bytes

iv also tested to find my optimum MTU size from this http://help.expedient.net/broadband/mtu_ping_test.shtml

and funny enough it also turns out to be 1492 bytes

so as far as i can tell my MTU is set at its best value?

im not even wanting to read the site now just want to know why i can load it , hmmm...

i duno i just seem to jump from 1 problem to the next, dont get me wrong i love learning about comps been using them all my life but the tech just goes faster than i could ever hope to catch up with.
Thx for your time,
