Some time back on a web site I found a way to change settings in Outlook express that made it faster. Needless to say I lost the settings anyone out there got any info?

Something like this, maybe?

To prevent MS Messenger from loading with OE you must do BOTH of these things if you don't want to edit the Registry:
(This step is required to prevent a long delay when opening OE with the
Contacts pane enabled)

Getting rid of messenger is one of the first things I do whenever I set up or reinstall Windows for myself and friends.
