I play mafiadeath it is text based game online and I am having trouble with logging in.
Before you dismiss this as a website issue that I need to resolve with them please hear me out.

Heres what is supposed to happen- I go to the website and there is a login section username /password ~ fill that in and enter ~ a new window pops up ~ you enter the capcha shown on the screen ~ new window and you are on your game home page.
Heres what happens when I do it- I go to the main page and I log in with my correct username and password, I am 100% sure I am entering the right info, the capcha screen comes up and I fill that in correctly, again Im 100% sure I am correct, but instead of logging me in it sends me back to the first page where you login .
I went out to my wifes computer which is in the next room, and logged in first try.
Come back into my room, try logging in again same thing happens.
I dont get it- we are on the same IP address sharing a connection , why can I log in from her pc but not mine?
I am running xp sp2 IE7 and I was on the site playing all day- all of a sudden while Im playing the login screen pops up and starts doing what I just decribed above.
Anybody got any ideas?
I tried clearing all the temp folders I reset internet explorer to default settings I even replaced all my host files.
I am out of ideas and need some help please

ok I downloaded Firefox and it works great- it obviously was some problem with IE. I have always liked IE but maybe its time to make the switch .
