Frozen Computer?

Hi everybody,

I tried to satart up my computer this morning and all I get is a black screen with the Compaq logo on it saying to press f10 to start.

If I press alt+control+delete I get this on the screen:

It asks to wait but nothing happpened for over an hour. What shouold I do?

Just trying to understand...is F10...the same thing as Control/Alt/Delete on your Compaq?

If not, I guess I have to ask why you did not do as requested :thumbsup:.

I think he means after he press F10 he gets the computer to start, however when he press Ctrl+Alt+Del he gets this message.

With HP/Compaq, F10 is usually for entering the BIOS and Esc is for setting the boot order.

What other messages are listed towards the bottom of the screen (likely to be either just before or just after the F10 message).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
