Hi,

I have tried to get all the information required for posting in this forum but have managed only one Hijackthis Log. Reason being, this virus/trojan is not letting me access website to download DSS, run the online scan; also I am not able to access Bleepingcomputer site, Symantec site and am also unable to access Liveupdate of Symantec.

As suggested for pre-posting in this forum, I also checked about the firewall and found that it was misterously OFF - I changed that.

I have run Norton 2008, Windows Defender and Vundofix 6.5.5 - no findings here. Also, my IE7 since infection gives the message asking me to work offline or try again. Sometimes, there is some error message which closes the IE. Will try to get the message in my next post.

I apologize for the wait, if your issues are not resolved, read the instructions posted above and then follow the directions below. If you no longer need help, I would appreciate a quick post letting me know so I can close your topic.

Pls give me couple of days at max to get the system all loaded and ready to run. Will post the HJT log once again to check and ensure that allz well now.
