Data Recovery Technician would be your best bet...

I recommend Drive Savers...

The only way a third party program could get it back is if you would have made a compressed backup...

For free: http://www.pcinspector.de

Pay for (IMO it's as capable as PCInspector, but easier to use) GetDataBack at http://www.runtime.org
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I'm getting ready to do that myself. I'll format through the recovery console and then reinstall Windows and all my drivers then I'll start with the software. I have almost everything backed up with just a few more settings that I need to get before the format takes place. I've been waiting in case I forgot to get something off the current install I would have time to think of it and do it. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about my FTP software and all of my account settings for that as well as all of my Outlook account settings.

I have 4 different e-mail accounts that I check through Outlook and they have all been set up since 05 so I don't even remember the passwords on some of them.

If it's not too late, there are utilities that can show those passwords. SIW might find them.
http://www.gtopala.com/
Free version (I use the standalone, non install)
http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html

And others. Try a google search.

You can actually export your e-mail account through the account maintenance page. I did that but haven't gotten back to installing Outlook yet. I'll let you know how it works out.
