 When I am on the computer, online or offline, a window pops up stating an illegal operation has been performed. How can this be stopped and what causes it?

Buggsy,
We're gonna need more information than that to provide the best answers.
Are you running Win95, 98, or ME? What are you doing on the computer at the time the error comes up? What exactly does the error say? Does it give a number or group of letters?
