Want To Go From Vista Ult X64 To X86 Aka 32 Bit Can I Just Format Hd And Reinstall

So I want to go from x64 to x86 aka 32 bit Can I just boot with my vista cd format the hard drive and install the os again except 32 bit this time and would this screw my hd up for this would be the second time I am formatting it and also I only have 1 partition
