I loved Vista's snipping tool - Free, easy, uncomplicated, straight-forward - just draw and snip - Full screen or part screen, or just a portion of screen capture - just so wonderfully simplistic

I can't find the same for XP -

And how about other alternatives that vista has but XP doesn't ?

Cheers

I have the same question. I just gave a talk on Vista's Snipping Tool at our computer club today. I saw on a CNET post that it was available for W XP, but when I went to download it on my desktop which has XP SP3, I got an error message that said it was meant for XP Tablet PCs only. What a disappointment. I have it on my Laptop which has Vista Home Premium OS and love it. I guess the old saying "trust, but verify" would have applied to my use of something posted on a blog.
