Do I need to totally remove V5 before upgrading to V7?

Sheeesh, Scarlett! First you taught me how to post a screenshot. Now you've taught me where my latest head-scratcher should have gone in the first place! (I really did search the forums first and try to figure out where the best place would be.) Thanks for bailin' me out once again.

Since you are skipping V6, I would suggest you would have fewer problems if you were to uninstall the old version and then install V7; if memory serves me right, there is a lot of difference between 5 and 7.

I just think it is safer, under almost all instances, to uninstall previous versions of an application, run defrag (if it is a large program), and then install the new version. While this certainly may take more time, the results are, in my opinion, well worth it.
Cheers,
John
