My friend's Dell was infested with PWS.LDPinchIE along with Virtumonde, Smitfraud and MalWarrior infections. I was able to boot in safe mode. I ran latest versions CCleaner and Spybot which identified and I think it removed those items. The general tab of MyComputer/Properties shows text "VIRUS ALERT" which I assume was placed there by a virus.

When I boot in normal or diagnostic mode I get BSOD 0x0...08E. He can't find his Dell recovery CD and I'm thinking maybe a repair install is in order but not sure how to proceed. He does have I386 folder.

I can provide HiJackThis log if it's applicable.

Thanks for any suggestions.
