Hello all. I just re-downloaded IE 7, and now I cannot save pictures when I use the right click and "save picture as" feature. Is there possibly a setting that I need to check or uncheck? I have XP Home Edition. Thank you.

Hello,

Does this happen to all pictures you try to save or just a select few?
Regards,

Alan.

Hello Alan. No, I don't get that. When I right click and hit "save picture as", the menu part of my right click just disappears and does not bring the pic up to save. Basically, nothing happens as soon as I hit "save picture as."
Thanks, Tom.

Just to make sure this is not a system problem, have you tried saving pictures using another browser?
Regards,

Alan.

Alan, it does this to pictures only. All other features of my right click work fine. I use AOL, but I did try to save a pic by bringing up IE and would not let me save that way either. Strange, isn't it?
Thanks, Tom.

Alan, it's working fine now. I don't know what it was or what remedied it, but it's back to normal again.
Thanks for your help.
Tom

That is strange, but i'm glad it all works now. Did you change any settings at all?
Regards,

Alan.

Well, actually it's doing the same thing again. I'm thinking it may be AOL 9.That's what I primarily use and have noticed that the pages are all loading slow and the browsing is slow. I have broadband and did the speakeasy speed test and my numbers are fine. Do you think I need to enable the "aol top speed", or is that something else to use resources on?
Thanks, Tom.

If you are using AOL as your browser...then you probably need to either check for an update...or uninstall/reinstall to counteract possible corruption in the software.

Unless something has changed since I last dealt with AOL...they provide plenty of updates, whether users want them or not . So I would tend to think it's a corruption issue.
