Dark Blue Screen

well i had trojans and other malware on my cpu on sunday night, i got most of it off and i deleted a registry entry, the entry was in the software category or whatnot, the next morning i got on and rmeoved the rest of it and right when i was almost finished the cpu shut down and restarted itself then the dark blue screen came up and said registry corrupt or something, then it said cannot load registry
systemroot/file/system32/software it may be absent or not writable, then it said beginning to dump phsyical memory, then it took me to the advanced options menu with the safe mode and other others when u usully push f8 when rebooting i chose 1 option each time and it never seemed to work, i finnaly decided to reformat and reinstall everything, but can anyone tell me what was wrong

It appears that you may have deleted a critical key in the Software category of the registry. Since Windows couldn't load it, it couldn't boot up at the point where Windows loads.

As a suggestion, if you're going to mess with the registry, I'd suggest backing it up before you do anything to it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
