Death, Taxes, and your Hard Drive will pack up at the most inopportune moment. :trumpet:

Have you backed up your irreplaceable data, photos, files, to external media??

If not, how about doing it right now!! Procrastination can be very costly. :flowers:

Been there, had that happen. Fortunately the SMART feature was enabled in the BIOS and I received the notice that the SMART had reported BAD. This gave me enough time to transfer the important files before it gave it up. Yep...backing up is important.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I have some files backed up in my USB. Not a lot, and not that important many of them. If lost, I guess I can still get on with life!

dc3, this SMART feature is impressive. I'm just wondering if it is present in my Acer Aspire 5610 BIOS. Will I have to go into the BIOS to see if it is there or is it googleable?
