hello im not sure what i have but i ran trojan hunter, avg free, a-squared, spy-boy, windows defender,avira in safe mode each about 2 times it found and delted like 10 or more different trojan's. but they all seem to have come back or my anti-viruses pick them up again and place them in the vault. Anyway can someone please take a look at the log when they have time and let me know thank you.

Hi endo519 and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Before we start, i have to point out to you, these processes:
C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avguard.exe
Related to AntiVir... anti-virus protector.

C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgui.exe
Related to AVG8... anti-virus protector.

It is not recommended that you have more than one anti virus product installed and running on your computer at a time.
In general terms, the two programs may conflict and cause:
1) False Alarms: When the anti virus software tells you that your PC has a virus when it actually doesn't.
2) System Performance Problems: Your system may lock up due to both products attempting to access the same file at the same time.
Therefore please go to add or remove in the control panel and remove either AntiVir or AVG8.
Which you remove is entirely up to you.

Step 1
Now the 1st thing we need to do is:
Please change the location of HijackThis.exe.
Create a new folder in your C: Drive
Name it C:\HJT or HijackThis and move the HijackThis.exe file into it.

Easiest way is to right click on the desktop icon for Hjt... select 'cut'
Then go to the newly created folder... open it ... then right click and select 'paste'


It's best for this tool NOT TO be located on your Desktop or in a TEMP folder.
This way you can undo any changes if something goes wrong and will prevent the tool placing shortcuts on your Desktop.

Step 2
I need you to disable a couple of programs for me.

Please disable WINDOWS DEFENDER... it is known to interfere with our fixes.

* Click Start >> Programs >> Windows Defender or launch from the system tray icon.
* Click on Tools & Settings >> Options.
* Under Real-time protection options, uncheck the "Real-time protection" check box.
* Click Save.
* Go to Start >> Control Panel >> Security >> Windows Defender, at the bottom of the Window Defenders page uncheck under Administrator Options "use Windows Defender" and then Save.

* (When we are done, you can re-enable Defender using the same steps but this time place a check next to "Turn on real-time protection" check box.)

Please disable Spybot S&Dís TeaTimer protection, because it is known to interfere with our fixes.
You can enable it again after you're clean.
Open Spybot and click on 'Mode' then click 'Advanced Mode'.
Click on 'Tools' in bottom left hand corner.
Click on the 'System Startup' icon.
Uncheck 'Teatimer' box and/or uncheck 'Resident'.
Click the 'Allow Change' box.
Then, check next to the computer clock to see if the icon for Spybot is still there.
If it is, right click it and choose 'exit Spybot-S&D Resident'.

Reboot the computer.

Step 3
Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these items.

Then close all other windows, browers etc--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

Step 4
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):
  • Go to Tools > Options.
  • Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
  • Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
  • Click OK to close the Options window
    Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
    A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin
  • Go to start > run and type: cleanmgr and click ok.
  • Let it scan your system for files to remove.
  • Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
  • Press OK to remove them.
Now reboot the computer.
Step 5
Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.

  • Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
  • Double-click on Download_mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
  • When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself. Press the OK button to close that box and continue. If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
  • On the Scanner tab:
    • Make sure the "Perform Quick Scan" option is selected.
    • Then click on the Scan button.
  • If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
  • The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
  • When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
  • Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
  • Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
  • The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

In your next reply, please submit:
MBAM scan result
a new Hjt log.
