The Tools Tab is on my system also...This is a bad thing WHY? From what I can see it is a menu that has been added to msconfig to allow you to troubleshoot many different utilities from one location...msconfig is mainly a troubleshooting utility not to be used to control start-up programs as some members are wanting to use it for.

If you have started a HighJackThis topic you should not make any changes to your system unless directed by the specialist as it will add confusion to the person/persons trying to help you. Be patient as the specialists are usually very busy in that forum.

If you haven't had a reply in 5 days there is a topic there somewhere on that page to lead them to your post.

If you have questions or problems outside of malware once your system has been cleaned up feel free to come back and open up a new topic and we'll do our best to answer you.
Does this look like an OldGrumpyBastard or what?
