I had exactly that same problem as wb1 (and a couple more), but they are now sorted. I had also tried SAS and PC Spyware Doctor but to no avail (I have mcafee instead of symantec). For your info Vundofix didnt find anything, but the Malwarebyte Anti-Malware must have killed it, cos I dont have the problems anymore.

Hello I have split your post to it's own topic. It is always better as it can become vey confusing to all posters involved.
Is your PC also an XP or another system?
You need to reboot if you haven't already.
