Hello. I'm new to the forum and have many questions I would like to ask. I bought an HP Pavilion 6700 series computer with Windows ME on it from my brother and it has plenty of issues I would like to straighten out or change. For starters, when I go into Windows Explorer it automatically expands into MY DOCUMENTS and I would prefer it to expand my C: drive instead since that is were I ultimately need to go. Is this possible to change to or am I stuck?

I think you are stuck with this default (MS in it's wisdom most likely figured people would want to search their documents more often than their hard drive). Still, it is a simple one click operation to expand it to your C: drive.

You may have inherited a lot of gunk that was installed by your brother. I bet if you take some time to clean out the hard drive up, run a few utilities, and defrag it will work a lot better than right now.
