4gbram On Xp Pro?

Hello, i have recently bought a new Toshiba laptop A9 with 4GB RAM it has XP pro by default when checking the memory i found that the windows is only reading 3.2GB, i have 2 questions first is XP pro using the 4GB ram but only 3.2 shown? and is there a software to fix this ? so i can monitor all my system memory

If the version of Windows you are using is 32-bit it will only read 3GB to 3.5GB maximum.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

No, this is a limit of the 32 bit operating system - it occurs in 32 bit versions of Windows Vista also.
In most cases it's harmless (but irritating) - but with some older systems it can cause errors.
On my systems that I had 4gB on, they all read 3.26 gB.
My wife's system still has it, but I upgraded to an x64 version of Vista in order to have it all recognized (then I added even more RAM!)
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
