Hey, so I have a 160gb external hdd to back up my C:/ I used a program called Self-Image to copy the C:/ drive, but it had made my external into a Local drive, and reduced the size from 160gbs to 70gb. When I try to reformat the drive, I only get a 70gb option. What happened and how do I fix it?

Did it copy anything to the drive? You could try Killdisk this will erase all the information on the selected drive undoing any back ups that may have been done.
