Monitor Problems

I have just started to have problems with my monitor, after about 30mins of playing any game on it the monitor turns itself off saying 'no input signal' then says 'power saving' and turns itself off? only does it when playing games and is fine during normal use, i have checked all of the power management options and nothing seems to help? any ideas??

Do you have onboard video or a video card? When is the last time You've cleaned the PC's interior and made sure all of the fans (including the video card's) are turning?
