Hi there,

I've got some good news for Ad-aware SE users.
It seems like, updates for this version are back in!I was using def. file from 15.5. and it was updated to 22.5. now.
There are almost every 2-3 days new updates,so check often.
Have a nice day

I find this a tiny bit confusing..

So what if one is using ad-aware 2007? I mean will they still receive updates? What would be the purpose for SE now since 2007 has been released?

I don't use the product. But this is really eating at me..

Teenage.Zombiee is back ! :halloween:

I think if you go through the forums here, you'll find that a lot of users don't like the new bloatware version of Ad Aware and have ditched it. Lavasoft has shot themselves in the foot. They took a good product and ruined it. There are better alternatives and the product isn't needed anymore. Awesome news? Who cares?

My definitions update is listed as being from December of 2007. I just checked again and no others are available.

Whereabouts are you getting these updates from? I would certainly want to have the latest updates.

Hi rigacci.
Manual updates are downloadable for SE here. (upper right hand corner)
Unzip and place in the Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal folder. Click yes to overwrite.

I was pleased to hear about the latest Ad Aware program, I found the program to be lacking in certain areas especially in the uninstalling of the tool. I would like the old version if it still works.
Regards,

Alan.

Thanks HitSquad!

That's great. I always have preferred the older one.

You're welcome.
Don't know how long Lavasoft will keep serving up the updates but I'll keep the old version as long as they do.
