[font=Arial]Hi!

I'm writing this again because before I could even finish my post (mysteriously the Bleeping Computer internet explorer webpage suddenly disappeared (funny, the other two stayed open)

So, this time I'm writing it on Notepad and then I'll post it on the forum.

Here goes again.

I've never posted a HiJackThis Log before. I have done EVERYTHING I possibly know to do to meet the Pre-Hijack Log posting.

Here's a list of the current anti-virus/anti-spyware I am using. (won't bother listing THE OTHER anti-BS-spy/virus software - (please excuse the expletive)

1. Spybot - Search and Destroy (recently deleted it because some other software told me I had to disable it and I didn't know how to do that so I deleted it, but only temporarily - fully intend to re-install it

2. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 (trial version) heard it was great with rootkits!

3. Snoopfree Privacy Shield - FREE! (Block spyware, Keyloggers, Snoop Software, Surveillance Programs)

FANTASTIC tiny software Completely Free created by Stephen Nichols. His bio says he's a veteran software engineer with over 11 years of professional programming and software design. (he does accept donations) Guess you can tell I'm a fan of this guy's software - He HATES privacy invasion. My kind of people  Anyway, after I've finished with my boo-hoo and DESPERATELY hoping you can help me post - I'll include his software info and the website url at the bottom of my post.

Worth checking out. I promise!
(unless someone here knows something about it that I don't know and would sure appreciate any info on it if it is not what it seems.)

GOSH, where to start!

I know I have keyloggers, dialers, malware, rootkits, trojans, website hijackers and - techy spyware and hackers - big time!

I've noticed for a few weeks that even my mouse jumps all over the place. Didn''t think much of it all that time other than a nuisance and probably needed to get another. It only happened off and on, but now since I started downloading spyware and going to websites that give info about viruses, hackers, malware and what you can do about it - it's nearly constant and every day. (apparently I'm the only one it's happening to, even though my 22 yr. son and daughter in law use this computer too - or they just don't notice it.)

I'm trying to wake them up to this Internet nightmare, but my son uses his laptop most of the time and my daughter in law uses it primarily for games, pictures, email and chat. (and i've discovered that she set automatic updates to nearly everything - and I have discovered for myself that the update hosting services are being used by hackers. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's sure what it looks like - I won't even start to mention what I've learned about all the info hackers can get through chat, games and email - ok, so maybe i will mention it)

1. My Internet Explorer 7 is constantly being hijacked and redirected, comes up but won't display at all - not even an error message during those times, then there are error messages, and loads lots of webpages, freezing up and can't close it/them - even with the Windows Task Manager (speaking of that, I noticed today that their were 2 Windows Task Managers displayed - surely that's not normal - is it?)

2. Computer freezes up and after trying everything I have to just shut it down manually!

3. Windows Task Manager also freezes up and I have to shut the computer down manually.

4. Snoopfree has blocked innumerable attempts to "hook the keyboard", and blocked programs trying to view my screen. (guess you see why I'm such a fan)

5. Spybot - S&D - Awhile back, when I first started using Spybot - S&D a really freaky thing happened. It took on the "My Computer" icon, but not just the icon, it actually took over "My Computer" for real! Somehow I got it back to normal - and believe me that was no easy task, particularly for a brand new newbie like myself.

That was REALLY scary. Also, everytime I opened up Spybot- S&D it posted a message that said unless I allowed ads to display that the mirror download sites may not allow me to keep using their service. (still don't know how that happened or if it was legit or not - didn't know how to display their ads anyway - come to think of it, it was just a day or two after that when Spybot-S&D took on
the "My Computer" icon and the real thing too)

6. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 (trial version) - Been using it for 2 days. I'll give it this - IT DOESN'T GIVE INTO THE ENEMY!

It locks everything out when it perceives it or my computer is being attacked. I've had to shut the computer down manually about 6 or 8 times today because it wouldn't close when I tried repetedly to close it. It froze up.

Still don't understand much about Kaspersky since i've only been using it for 2 days.

Ok, so if anyone will PLEASE take a look at my HiJackThis log and see if you can give me some suggestions, I sure would appreciate it.

Please tell me honestly: IS THIS A ZOMBIE COMPUTER I RECENTLY READ ABOUT?
