Hi,

I currently wish to try outthe AVG free version, but i am not able to download it. Could it be due to the virus i contracted recently?

This is wat it said. Local machine: prepared for the installation
Actions plan:
Error: Evaluating of the short file name failed for "".
Creating of the temporary folder "" failed.
Error 0x80070005 %PATH% = "C:\Program Files\AVG"

I currently got quite a few trojan and virus within it. Which AVG programe do you think i get will solve it. Looking for two year plan.

What virus infection did you have and how did you remove it?
What version of AVG are you trying to download and use?
Have you tried checking with the AVG Tech Support?
