i started to download huge files so can anyone tell me a good one with nice features such as pausing?

Back in the days when I had dial up I used a little program called Fresh Downloads worked well for me and as far as I know it's clean of any spyware or nagware. HTH

:thumbsup: Hey Seth,theres a good one @ Microsoft &there's a couple of accelerators
available,but they seem to corrupt the files.(fast downloads)The one I've got is
really functional,even if I lose the connection it just picks up where it left off on
redial.Thats from Micro/s;but I really had to search the site for it;and of course
theres an installer there for prog-files that aren't exe.Frustrating locating them
but just type what you're after in the' search site' box.Try http://pcworld.com/
downloads 2 -and do a search thru the file archives-go back years so your bound
2 find lots of goodies!

Thanks Bear, Im looking on pcworld as we speak Deo :thumbsup: I have broadband but i still would prefer using a manager then opera's download system or firefox's. any more?
