Good Morning,

I'm 62 years old, male, married, and am medically & mentally disabled (Dementia). I don't ask
for sympathy as this is my Life's course after having worked 2 Full time jobs for 30 years
to keep my family and help other family members. Not bragging either, it's what one does when
you love someone.

This is my first post on here. I ask for your wisdom (not smart-azzness) and understanding as
I post questions to the Forums. I used to work in the computer field, but because of my
advancing dementia, I've forgotten a lot of what used to be "Common knowledge" to me.

If there is something that I remember how to do to fix something difficulty you may be having,
I'll gladly share that. By helping you, I "refresh" and "re-learn" material myself.

I've been in the Radio/Electronics field since 1958, when I was 12 years old. I have been a
licensed Amateur (Morse Code) Radio Operator for over 25 years, a Commercial Radio Engineer,
and Computer Tech. I still enjoy my Ham radio and scanner radio monitoring.

Well, I need another cup of my World's Famous, Hello World, Doggone Ya'! Cajun
cowboy, Sock kawphy, :flowers:

Respectfully submitted,

Ol' Fart

You sound like a hoot, Ol Fart! I am new here, too. Nice to meet you. My son and I are about to start studying for our ham radio licenses, too! (Although, my time is really at a premium these days)
