Hello Vlad68,

I can see McAfee Anti-Virus in your log and some Symantec signs.
Did you have Symantec previously and uninstalled it?
Let me know so we'll remove all remainants of it.

Hi Vlad68,

We'll remove Symantec remainants then.

Did you wait long enough when you uploaded the file to Jotti? You have to wait all scanners to finish.

Maybe Jotti was too busy. NO results shows in your report.

Can you retry please? If you still get the same results, try to upload it to Virustotal.

Upload a File to Virustotal
Please visit Virustotal

Copy/paste this file and path into the white box at the top:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\A0380mon.exe

Press Submit - this will submit the file for testing.
Please wait for all the scanners to finish then copy and paste the results in your next response.

Hi Vlad68,

So the file you suspected looks clean.
Did it appear suddenly on your pc? Why did you think the file is bad?

Do you have any symptoms which shows your pc is infected? For examples pop-ups? Strange behaviour of your pc?
----------------------------------------------
Now go in Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall any Symantec or Norton products which show there.

Then run the tool below to completely uninstall Symantec.

REMOVE NORTON

Please click HERE and follow the instructions to download and run the norton removal tool for your own version.
----------------------------------------------
FIX HIJACKTHIS ENTRIES

Open up Hijackthis.
Click on do a system scan only.
Place a checkmark next to these lines(if still present).

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

Then close all windows except Hijackthis and click Fix Checked
Close HijackThis.
----------------------------------------------
Update Java Runtime

You are using an old version of Java. Sun's Java is sometimes updated in order to eliminate the exploitation of vulnerabilities in an existing version. For this reason, it's extremely important that you keep the program up to date, and also remove the older more vulnerable versions from your system. The most current version of Sun Java is: Java Runtime Environment Version 6 Update 6.
  • Go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
  • Go to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6 and click on Download button.
  • In Platform box choose Windows.
  • Check the box to Accept License Agreement and click Continue.
  • Click on Windows Offline Installation, click on the link under it which says "jre-6u6-windows-i586-p.exe" and save the downloaded file to your desktop.
  • Go to Start => Control Panel => Add or Remove Programs
  • Uninstall all old versions of Java (Java 3 Runtime Environment, JRE or JSE)
  • Install the new version by running the newly-downloaded file with the java icon which will be at your desktop, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Reboot your computer
----------------------------------------------
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.
  • The log can also be found here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
  • Post that log back here.
----------------------------------------------
Post back:
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware report.
A new HijackThis log.
Let me know if you have any infections symptoms.

  • Let me know what it says under the Product Name.
----------------------------------------------
Did you installed lately programs to run when the pc starts?
Too many programs loading on start-up of the pc, makes it slower.

Your pc can run faster if we disable some programs which run when the computer starts. You can start them mannually.

Let me know if you wish to disable some programs.

You can also let me know from the programs you recognise in 04 lines of HijackThis log, so we'll disable them from start-up.

For example the lines for updating KODAK Software.
O4 - Global Startup: Kodak EasyShare software.lnk = C:\Program Files\Kodak\Kodak EasyShare software\bin\EasyShare.exe
O4 - Global Startup: KODAK Software Updater.lnk = C:\Program Files\Kodak\KODAK Software Updater\7288971\Program\Kodak Software Updater.exe
or
Windows Live Messenger line
or
Windows Media Player line

You can start them all mannually.

For general slowness, see here.
