The install took forever, I had already downloaded it, had it apply updates

norton's turned on autoupdates and had me download IE 7, the maliscous removal tool and an intel video driver(I had the latest greatest from intel already) stupid is as stupid does

I just went to windows updates and got what I wanted before

bootup is now 11 seconds more and norton's has fixed my hosts file, which I had immunized with spybot

I am missing about 60 megs of ram

C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe

there's 2 AV's, but 360 is running resident protection at 5-6 levels and winpatrol at 1 or 2 of those and teatimer at one

teatimer is evidently quietly sitting in the corner

360 is very impressive, at 80$ a year for 3 computers it should be

I am not impressed with avg free but you get what you pay for

Winpatrol seems very good, might go well with avira?

The purpose of this test was to crash windows and cause some sort of shell corruption.

I failed but there's always McAfee, I will remove 360 first tho

I allow

O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgssie.dll (file missing)
