I have a 3800intel series built on an asus motherboard desktop system which I build about 1 year ago. It has has all the usual bells and whistles and runs beautifully. Except for the keyboard the number keypad refuses to work. All the drivers are installed for the keyboard and I have even replaced the old one to rule out wear and tear. Reinstalled XP Pro but still the problem remains  anyone out there got a clue to what might be the cause of this?

Is this a PS/2 or USB keyboard? If it is a USB, have you looked in the BIOS to see if it is enabled?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
