Hi. First time posting and I have several questions.

I have Win.XP Pro w/SP1
Zone Alarm Pro.
MS AntiSpyware
SpySubtract
SpySweeper (trial)
SpyBot S&D (crashes system when used)
Ad-Aware 6 (just now found this one-is out of date)
AVG Free Edition
CWsweeper

The challenge is removing (1) Altnet (Browser Plug In)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Altnet

(2) HuntBar (Browser Modifier)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\btiein
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\BTIEIN\Itime

(3) Downloadware Media Loads (Browser Plug In)
Files: c:system volum information \_restore
{efb7d00d-44a5-acfa-f6b6e8f678ae}\rp52\
a0020800.exe

Under guidence of GURU's on ZAP user forum I have done everything to get rid of these three items yet they remain within the system. By following your Quick fix protocol (Uninstalling Spysubtract, Spysweeper, Ad-Adware 6, SpyBot S&D) (keeping MS Antispam, CWShredder, AVG Free Edtion), & then installing new Ad-Aware SE, & Spybot S&D. Will this remove these items & Can you help me with this? Thank you.

You need to post a HijackThis Log, to be examined.

Read the pinned post in the HijackThis forum, here
Please read, and follow, all directions carefully.

Then, run a log, and post it in the HJT forum, at this link. Do not, fix anything, yet.
A member, of the HJT Team, will help you out.
It may take a couple of days to get a response, because the HJT Team are very busy. Please, be patient, these people are volunteers. They will help you out, as soon as possible.

NOTE:
Once you have made the post, please, DO NOT make another post in the HJT forum, until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. The first thing they look for, when looking for logs to reply to, is 0 replies. If you make another post, there will be 1 reply. The team member, glancing over the replies, might assume someone is already helping you out, and will not respond. So, just make your post, and let it sit there, until a team member responds. This way you will be taken care of, in the most timely manner.
