I have NOD32 with up-to-date database running in my computer. NOD32 scan shows nothing(i..e no virus, torjans, spyware....).
I have the folder option -Hidden file option working properly no problem
BUT
My desktop shows nothing(not even recycle bin). the wallpaper is displayed properly and the taskbar and start menu is also displayed. No problem with the start menu also.To access my desktop items I have to go through
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop.
Attached File  my_desktop.gif   275.61KB   23 downloads

Some tools showed some problems regarding dxdlg.exe and (kinza virus also). I tried to manually search and destroy the respective processes and delete the respective files from the system. Now I think the dxdlg and kinza are totally deleted from my system
The list of virus/affected programs/files that I have deleted are:

Virus list:
Infected with Sys32.boot - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\boot.vbs
Infected with Sys32.dxdlg - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxdlg.exe
Infected with Sys32.imapd - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapd.exe
Infected with Sys32.imapdb - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapdb.dll
Infected with Sys32.imapdb - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapdb.exe
Infected with Sys32.imapdc - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapdc.dll
Infected with Sys32.imapdd - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapdd.dll
Infected with Sys32.imapde - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\imapde.dll
Infected with Sys32.wproxp - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\wproxp.exe
Infected with Sys32.swxcacls - File C:\WINDOWS\swxcacls.exe

But now, again, my desktop is displayed empty But I can access the desktop items through C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop. How can I recover it.
I need some solution to this problem. or some readily available full version tools.

thank You,

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
