I have an Aspire 5610 which when used for a period of time ,the touch pad either stops working or it would act erratic . I got it used and am assuming that this the reason the owner got rid of it. I have the latest drivers recommended for the touch pad.
Any advice to resolve this problem or is this more a hardware issue
Thanks in advance for any help  :flowers:

Have you just updated the drivers? It could have been corrupted at one point or another, I personally do not like touch pads and recommend hand held mice because it does act erratically for me all the time.

But if its corrupted try uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh driver.
