Hi!

I am totally in awe of the help and support offered here. What a wonderful resource - thank you!

You'll be hearing more from me in the appropriate forum as soon as I can round up all the pertinent info. Briefly, we came home from vacation to find a malware/trojan-laden computer. I spent two days cleaning it up -- at least I think it was clean -- but hit a brick wall after installing SP3. I can't even boot up in safe mode and am absolutely terrified of losing the stuff on my hard drive. How's this for irony -- we bought an external HD just before we left but hadn't backed up our files yet. (Sigh)

:flowers:

(BTW, while my screenname could be referring to my nerves at this point, I picked it because of another of my hobbies - tatting.)
