Hi all! Well I guess this is my first time surfing through and joining forums like this, but I really do need some help in some security issues. I've got a friend's computer, where if I right-click on desktop and select properties, the explorer just ends immediately. Also, there's this "Search Assistant-My Way" at Add/Remove Programs that I cannot delete. And if I move my mouse to a certain place, the desktop, which was originally white, changed to beige color. What has happened? I really need some help please!!! Thanks~~ =)

Create a directory on your hardrive, to save HijackThis.exe, called c:\hijackthis. This is a mandatory step, for the backup and restore functions, of HijackThis, to be able to work.

Download the latest version, from here.
