Hi, this is my first posting so here goes. I have tried to restore my computer to an earlier restore point however it tries and then says 'It has not been possible to restore your computer to *** try another restore point. I have tried 4 different resore points from yesterday to 10 days ago and none of them work, has anybody got any ideas of what the problem might be and how to overcome it, thanks

Hi Bob, and welcome to BleepingComputers.

If you can't use the System Restore try a Last Known Good Configuration, you can read the instructions here.
