I load up my PC and none of my start ups actually work, I don't know if its a virus or some file that has got deleted

EDIT : Just tried running cmd to do a checkdisk and it's not working

EDIT : It did work but it didn't appear till about 5 minutes later, Most of my windows keep crashing for no reason and it's really laggy, Is this a cause of a virus?

Try a couple of these free, online scans to rule out a virus:
Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully:
