Icon For Windows Folders?

Hello all,


I know you can change the icon for your windows folders and select from a list of them. My question is can I create my own and load it into the list? If so does it have to be a certain size or pixels and what kind of pic would it have to be?

I would rather be a little overkill with my computer. Than to have my computer be killed.
