I just bought logitech x-530 speakers,5.1 system and connected them to my computer, but only the front 2 and the subwoofer work, and the rear 2 and the central don't.Speakers work fine,I tested them on a ps2 and they all work, but when I connect them to computer, only 3 work.I have via ac'97 enhanced audio controller (wdm) and it supports 6 channel sound,I connected the speakers in every combination possible and nothing...tried getting drivers from via's site but it didn't help.I just don't know what is the problem,is my card damaged(though it shouldn't be,never touched it so far) or what?I would be so thankful if you would post some advice,I'm open to anything.Thank you in advance.
Don't know if it matters, but I have abit kv7 socket 462 system board.

Did you enable the 5.1 setup in your sound options?

So even if you change the rear and the front plugs the sound doesn't change or does it come out the rear speakers then?
