When i go online I can here my computer dialing & stuff. HELP!

Well, at least you know that the modem's working. :thumbsup:

Seriously, are you on dialup or broadband?

If you're on broadband and the modem is dialing though it isn't hooked up to the internet, start Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options and click the Connections tab, then click on the radio button for "never dial my connection."

If that's not your problem, please explain it in a little more detail.

echo: Welcome to BC. If you are simply trying to silence the sound of the modem trying to establish a connection, there is a BC Tutorial here. If that is not your problem, please post back with more details.
